Monroe
Adopted!

Hello, my name is Monroe and I was born on July 7, 2007.  When I was a little baby, I was rescued from a hoarder that had me living in a small cage with 22 other bunnies.  The courts surrendered me to an animal shelter in Brick, New Jersey where I was neutered and adopted by a wonderful family.  For 4 years, I lived in the Taj Mahal of bunny enclosures and learned how to be a great house rabbit. Unfortunately, due to an illness, my family couldn’t take care of me anymore.  Lucky for me, they sent me to a great Safe Haven foster family… but I need to find a new forever home.

Some folks say I’m a big bunny, but at 6 pounds, I’m actually medium size as far as rabbits go. I love hay and fresh salads with lots of different greens, especially green leaf, collard greens and parsley… yum‼

I love to run around and do my “binky dances” on the carpet… but don’t worry, I’m very clean and only go to the bathroom in my litterbox! My other favorite thing is laying down with my legs sprawled out and, of course, receive lots of petting. I’ve even been known to hop up on my foster mom’s lap to beg for head scratches!

I am a happy bunny who loves people, and everyone who meets me says that I’m a sweet, sweet boy. All I need is a new forever home where I can have lots of space and attention.   Will you be my new family?
