Lena was Daddy's girl first and foremost. She followed him everywhere, slept under his chair and always had an eye on him from wherever she was napping. Everyday she quietly accepted her meds and healthcare treatments and after, she snugged into Daddy's shoulder and stayed there for a good long hug. She was his "wingman" in life for 8 years.

She was tiny, only 3 lbs, but had a strong constitution. She was scared of closed-in dark places yet didn't mind loud noises. Her biggest complaint was when her salad was delivered late. We would run home from wherever we were so that didn't happen. We lived in her world when she became the last rabbit in our house. She was the queen and made us laugh as she moved around the room to find the sun to lay in. She liked watching us watch tv. We loved listening to her pitter patter across the wood floors which she did not mind as her feet were covered in so much fur. She was gentle and rarely thumped. She came running for her medicine and her meals. She hated being picked up. Understandable.

We miss you Lena. You were loved and returned that love ten-fold. May there be lots of treats and bananas across the rainbow bridge.
