Please be sure to stop by our table at Willy Wabbits Buntoberfest this Sept 7th!
All your purchases will go directly to the bunnies in our care! We will be featuring volunteer handcrafted Amigurumi (bunnies, and other assorted animals, including some holiday decorated).
We will also offer rabbit themed serving trays, jewelry, hand towels, notecards, tiles, candle holders, etc.
We look forward to seeing everyone that day! Be ready for "too cute!" overload!

Round 1 - Sept 5-7: The bunnies won their match! And moved on to the Championship Round
Round 2 - Championship Round - Sept 12-Sept 14
Safe Haven did not win this match
but moved to the Second Chance Group
Second Chance Round 2-Sept 19-Sept 21
The bunnies won this match and
Moved into the Finals!
FInal Rounds - Top 2 of the Championship Group and
Top 2 of the Second Chance Group - Sept 26 - Sept 28
Catskill Animal Sanctuary won the Championship Group
And
Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue won the Second Chance Group!
All the bunnies and volunteers thank each and everyone of you who supported our team during this year's Goat Games! The bunnies won the final round in the Second Chance group AND the Power Hour in that and the previous round! We can't Thank you enough for being there for the bunnies!
They are as happy as can be!

We were so excited to be a part of the 4th Annual Goat Games hosted by Catskill Animal Sanctuary and sponsored in part by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) and The ASPCA.
In 2020, Catskill Animal Sanctuary created The Goat Games as a response to urgent fundraising needs during COVID — and to give folks a taste of fun and athleticism in the wake of the canceled Olympics. The following year, they selected sanctuaries across the country to participate and the Games grew to a total of 10 teams, raising thousands of dollars to help save animals!
The Goat Games 2023 is YOUR chance to help rescued farmed animals across the country— by rallying your friends and family to determine which Sanctuary can raise the most donations by the end of the competition. Simply pick a sanctuary to receive your donations and ask your friends and family to support your efforts by sharing the landing page!

This was Safe Haven's first year participating in the Goat Games sponsored by Catskill Animal Sanctuary and it was a huge success!
Our Team Captain was "Rocky" - one of our sanctuary buns. And we had 6 team "Athletes" giving their all to raise our goal of $10,000.
WE DID IT!!
